To mark the 25th anniversary of the Air Max 95, Nike has unveiled the Cuban Link pack, which also includes a Air Max 90.
The Nike Air Max 95 Cuban Link Velvet Brown features a mesh upper paired with a premium leather and suede overlay construction. The pair features a gradient pattern starting with dark brown on the lower part of the pair, through light pink to off-white on the upper. A small original detail is a removable silver and gold chain with a mini Swoosh added as a jewel. According to some, this element is a reference to the Wu-Tang Clan rapper and his track “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx”. Perforated leather toe box reinforcements, embroidered yellow mini Swoosh on the outer sides, matching heel inserts and air bubbles complete the look.
