The Swoosh brand has teamed up with Boston-based shop Concepts to revisit the iconic with the “Message To Universe” collection based on the hippie culture of the 1960s.
The Nike Air Max 1 Concepts Mellow unveils a faded denim base, accompanied by several prints near the heel and throughout the vamp. The green mudguard is inspired by the military jackets worn by peace activists at festivals such as Woodstock in 1969. Several burgundy reminders on the laces, the Swoosh with floral details and the velvet tongue contrast with the whole. A cream midsole with speckle pattern and a brown outsole complete the Tinker Hatfield design.
This new silhouette is a top-of-the-line collaboration that kicks off the Air Max Day of for the year 2022 and pays tribute to the artists who participated in the protests against the Vietnam War!
