Very original, this was designed for the Doernbecher from by a 17-year-old girl, Zoe Taaffe, who has an extremely rare autoimmune disease.
The Dunk Low Doernbecher Zoe is packed with detail. While the yellow and green leather, reminiscent of the University of Oregon, gives the pair a flashy effect, the accompanying zebra pattern lets Zoe’s first name show in places. On the Swoosh, which has the distinction of being interchangeable, the inscription“One in a million” refers to the rarity of the disease of the girl. Cherry on the cake, the outsole of this Dunk is phosphorescent and is therefore revealed in the dark.
